Responsibilities

Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods and processes
Design and implement tooling and fixtures to optimize production efficiency
Create and maintain detailed work instructions for production processes
Support production line operations and troubleshoot manufacturing issues
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Design, and Operations to drive continuous improvement
Assist in the implementation and support of MES systems, PLM systems (e.g., Windchill), and CAD tools
Contribute to new product introduction (NPI) and process validation efforts

Required

Candidate must have a Bachelors degree and 4-8 years of prior relevant work experience or a Masters degree with 2-6 years of prior relevant work experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and within a team
Willingness to be hands-on and support production floor activities
Must be a U.S Citizen and able to obtain/maintain a final secret security clearance
Proficiency in writing clear and concise work instructions
Candidate must be a resident of the Northern Alabama area or willing to relocate

Preferred

Strong background in process development, tooling design, and production support
Experience with Solumina, Windchill, MES systems, and SolidWorks or other CAD software
Familiarity with aerospace, defense, or other high-reliability manufacturing industries
Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced environments and lead process improvement initiatives
