Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive eye exams to geriatric patients in facility-based settings

Diagnose and manage ocular conditions including cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic eye disease

Prescribe corrective lenses and coordinate eyewear needs as appropriate

Educate patients and facility staff on eye health, preventive care, and treatment plans

Ensure patient comfort and safety in a mobile/facility-based care environment
