Responsibilities

Lead and develop high-performing Sales Managers through coaching, training, regular performance and pipeline reviews, and clear accountability
Establish consistent sales standards and a collaborative team culture that strengthens skills, improves close rates, and drives sustained performance
Oversee day-to-day private event sales and pipeline management, partnering with senior leadership to execute revenue strategies aligned with overall business and space management goals
Drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, leading targeted prospecting in key markets, and supporting high-value negotiations and major client deals
Oversee sales operations and reporting by managing forecasting, budgeting, and CRM/event systems to ensure accurate, consistent data
Monitor performance and market trends to provide insights and adjust sales strategies in real time
Serve as a senior, client-facing leader by supporting key opportunities, representing Evergreen externally, and providing executive presence in high-impact proposals, presentations, and site tours
Collaborate across teams to ensure seamless execution, strong brand visibility, and alignment between sales and organizational objectives

Required

8+ years of experience in event sales, hospitality sales, or related experience; previous team leadership required
Bachelor's degree is required
Demonstrated success managing a sales team, coaching talent, and driving accountability
Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and KPI management
Proven ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and represent a brand with professionalism and energy
Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Passion for people-development, culture, and creating memorable client experiences
Experience with CRM systems and pipeline management tools (Salesforce, Tripleseat, Social Tables, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Asana, etc)
