Responsibilities
Conduct routine and non-routine inspections and perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair on all HVAC equipment, ventilation system, refrigeration, air conditioners, chillers, freezers, coolers, and heat pumps located in or around GCCC
Install, maintain, service and repair equipment such as electric motors, heaters, coolers, refrigerators, freezers, compressors, water heaters and plumbing facilities using hand and power tools of the maintenance trade
Advise supervisor for ordering purposes when parts are needed; assure parts are readily available when needed
Qualification
Required
Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, benefits, repair, and maintenance
Uses computers, software applications, databases, and automated systems to accomplish work
Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral and written presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately
Possess a valid driver's license
Must pass a criminal history check
Must be fingerprinted
Must certify that they have a legal right to accept employment in the United States
