Responsibilities

Maintains quantitative and qualitative metrics, guidelines, and standards by which the company’s efficiency and effectiveness can be evaluated; identifies opportunities for improvement

Implements policies and procedures that will improve day-to-day logistics operations

Ensures that resources to meet the staff expectations are executed on, resource utilization are monitored and evaluated for effectiveness and optimal results

Facilitates communication and flow of information between and among locations, with leadership, and other areas of the organization

Analyzes and interprets performance data for use in decision making and process improvement efforts

Manages vendor relationships to ensure service delivery and profitability

Manages company fleet inventory and maintains operability and accountability of all assets assigned

Projects a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community

Performs other related duties as assigned
