Responsibilities

Develop and implement sales strategies and plans that align with the overall business objectives and market trends
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for growth
Set sales targets and KPIs for the sales team and track progress against goals
Manage and develop the company's dealer network, including dealer selection, onboarding, training, and performance evaluation
Provide guidance and support to dealers in achieving their sales targets
Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers to ensure their commitment and loyalty to the company's brand
Lead and motivate the sales team, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback
Set clear expectations and provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance their sales skills and product knowledge
Foster a positive and collaborative team culture
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including farmers, agricultural cooperatives, and other stakeholders in the grain handling industry
Understand customer needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and issues in a timely and satisfactory manner
Oversee sales operations, including sales forecasting, budgeting, and reporting
Monitor and analyze sales performance data to identify areas for improvement and take corrective actions as needed
Coordinate with other internal departments to ensure smooth order processing, delivery, and after-sales support
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and product knowledge
Provide input to product development teams on customer needs, market demands, and product enhancements
Attend trade shows, conferences, and industry events to represent the company and build brand awareness

Required

Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or related field
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in sales, preferably in the agriculture or manufacturing industry, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and dealers
Sound understanding of sales strategies, customer relationship management, and sales operations
Knowledge of grain handling equipment, agricultural practices, and industry regulations
Proficiency in using sales tools and technologies, such as CRM software and sales analytics
Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed to meet with dealers and customers

Preferred

MBA or other relevant certifications are a plus
