Penske Motor Group is looking for Valets at Longo Lexus, where they create the first and last impression for guests. The role involves moving vehicles safely and efficiently while enhancing the guest experience and maintaining a professional appearance in the service department.

Responsibilities

Install and removes disposable seat covers, steering wheel covers, floor mats, and ID tags in all the vehicles brought in for service

Drive vehicles from the service lane to their proper places in the service parking lot in a neat and organized manner

Ensure all vehicles in the service parking lot are secured

Assist in moving disabled vehicles in or around the service department

Retrieve customer vehicles from the parking lot

Help maintain a professional appearance of the service department

Inspect each vehicle for lot damage that may have been occurred during the vehicle’s stay in the service department

Must follow all company safety policies and practices

Assists in all other areas of the service department, as needed

Maintain high ethical standards and a professional appearance at all times

Qualification

Required

A high school diploma or equivalent

Minimum of six (6) months customer service experience, desired

Ability to coordinate activities with other employees; read and comprehend instructions and information in the English language; work well with the public

Must have a valid driver's license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record

Frequently bend, stretch, twist, or reach with their body, arms, and/or legs; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear

Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions including low and high temperatures, precipitation and wind, noisy environments, and small and/or enclosed spaces

Adjusting, moving, and lifting objects up to 50 pounds

Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces

Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods

Operating motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment

Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and poles
