Asst Front Office Manager - Overnight
EOS Hospitality is looking for a hands-on and motivated Overnight Assistant Front Office Manager to join their team at The William Vale. The role involves providing support and guidance to guests and the Front Office team, ensuring safety, and maintaining high standards of service during the overnight shift.

Responsibilities
Provide direction and coordination for hotel personnel in the absence of the General Manager
Provides General Manager, Hotel Manager, and Director of Front Office with summary of activities during shift by preparing and distributing daily log. Communicates daily with department head regarding areas of concern
Assures safety of guests, employees, and property by working closely with hotel security. Assists with incident reports
Takes corrective action during emergencies. Displays excellent judgement and decision-making skills. Communicates with General Manager regarding all emergencies
Follows End of Day / Night Audit checklist
Must have excellent front desk skill; have extensive knowledge of computer, emergency, and PBX/phone systems
Must be knowledgeable of hotel products, services, pricing, VIP guests, and events
Ensures all guests are being treated in a courteous manner while operating efficiently and meeting all brand and Forbes standards
Qualification
Required
3-5 years' management experience
1-year previous Front Office management experience required
Understanding of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Email)
Flexibility to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation
Must be able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive guest and colleague information
Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and grooming
Maintain regular attendance in compliance with hotel needs
Attend all hotel required meetings and trainings
Excellent front desk skill
Extensive knowledge of computer, emergency, and PBX/phone systems
Knowledgeable of hotel products, services, pricing, VIP guests, and events
Excellent problem resolution and decision-making skills
Outstanding communication skills
Proactive approach to problem resolution, including: anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving issues as needed
Understanding of accounting programs
Comfortable with math and audits
Multitasks and prioritizes department functions to achieve maximum efficiency and effectiveness
Preferred
Experience with Opera Cloud is a plus
Multilingualism considered an asset
