The Loan Servicing Specialist is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and performing critical loan servicing functions, including loan payment posting, insurance monitoring, and escrow payments.

Banking

Responsibilities

Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email regarding loan accounts, payments, and servicing-related questions

Cover the loan servicing phone queue; meet or exceed response and resolution SLAs

Provide professional, clear, and accurate information to borrowers, internal stakeholders, and third parties

Investigate and resolve customer concerns or discrepancies related to loan accounts

Post and reconcile loan payments, adjustments, and reversals

Research and resolve payment exceptions, unapplied funds, and suspense items

Balance daily work against core banking system reports; escalate discrepancies as needed

Create and process ACH transfers

Generate, verify, and deliver payoff quotes within service standards

Process loan payoffs, confirm satisfaction in the core system, and complete audit trails

Prepare, file, and track lien releases and satisfactions with appropriate state/local agencies; ensure titles are properly released and collateral documents are returned
