MH-53K Data Engineer and Analysis Liaison (DEAL)
Tekla Research, Inc. is seeking a Junior Data Engineer and Analysis Liaison to support the MH-53K program. The role involves gathering, analyzing, and reporting flight test related data sets, as well as developing analysis tools and solutions to complex applications problems.

Responsibilities
Gathering, collating, formatting, filtering, analyzing, reporting, and storing flight test related data sets
Analyze science, engineering, business, and other data processing problems to develop and implement solutions to complex applications problems, system administration issues, or network concerns
Perform systems management and integration functions, improve existing computer systems, and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and schedule limitations
Identify the methods, processes, algorithms, tools, and systems to extract and interpret findings from varied structured and unstructured data sets related to the data science lifecycle
Develop algorithms and/or tools to support data manipulation and processing as well as the use of data visualization techniques to articulate findings
Apply professional knowledge of computer science and mathematical and statistical theories, techniques, and methods to gather, analyze, design and construct new processes for modeling, interpreting, and/or reporting quantitative information, trends, relationships and correlations among or within data sets
Apply knowledge of analytical methodologies, management principles, hardware and software systems structures and operation, and aircraft systems or requirements to solve project problems
Independently use mathematical and programmatic approaches to define, plan, organize, design, develop, modify, test, and integrate systems
Directly research unconventional applications for designing and developing new methodologies, modifications, or adaptations of standardized techniques
Develop project plans, guidelines, and controls. May manage and supervise contractor personnel providing this function
Perform engineering duties in designing, constructing, and testing aircraft, missiles, and spacecraft
Qualification
Required
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Active Secret Clearance
Professional knowledge of computer science and mathematical and statistical theories, techniques, and methods
Ability to gather, analyze, design and construct new processes for modeling, interpreting, and/or reporting quantitative information, trends, relationships, and correlations among or within data sets
Knowledge of analytical methodologies, management principles, hardware and software systems structures and operation, and aircraft systems or requirements
Ability to define, plan, organize, design, develop, modify, test, and integrate systems
Experience in engineering duties in designing, constructing, and testing aircraft, missiles, and spacecraft
Preferred
Experience as a Data Engineer and Analysis Liaison, Computer/Data Scientist, System Analyst, or Engineer at a Junior level
Experience in analysis tool development
Experience in identifying methods, processes, algorithms, tools, and systems to extract and interpret findings from varied structured and unstructured data sets
Experience in developing algorithms and/or tools to support data manipulation and processing
Experience in using data visualization techniques to articulate findings
Experience in managing and supervising contractor personnel
