Responsibilities
Develop and maintain Anthropic's preferred standards for receiving and consuming data, ensuring alignment with Product and Engineering's evolving needs
Own end-to-end data delivery workflows, ensuring data moves seamlessly from partners to internal teams to accelerate time-to-impact
Analyze and review incoming or prospective data to verify it is useful and strategic for Anthropic
Troubleshoot delivery issues and coordinate with partners and internal teams to resolve them
Build scalable systems and dashboards to monitor and analyze where data lives, how it's being used, and compliance status
Ensure adherence to all of Anthropic’s and partner’s commercial obligations
Design processes for onboarding new data sources and partners efficiently
Partner with Infrastructure to set the standard for data cataloging across Anthropic as we scale
Collaborate with Research, Product, Legal, Security and Infrastructure teams to ensure data is accessible and usable
Guide external partners through Anthropic's data standards, delivery expectations, and processes
Provide operational support to data partnership initiatives, ensuring smooth execution and adherence to processes and timelines
Prepare regular reports and presentations for executive leadership, highlighting key data metrics, insights, opportunities, and recommendations re: data delivery standards and practices
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in data operations, technical program management, or a related role that blends operational and technical work
A background in engineering or data science—you can write light code (Python, SQL), do data analysis, and work with data pipelines
Think systematically and can design processes and infrastructure that scale
Highly detail-oriented and take ownership of getting things right, especially around data quality and compliance
Navigate ambiguity effectively and can build structure where none exists
Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners, representing Anthropic's data standards and delivery expectations
Demonstrate a bias for action—you identify problems and solve them rather than waiting for direction
At least a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Preferred
Experience building dashboards, tracking systems, or data cataloging infrastructure
Familiarity with data governance, compliance, or rights management
Track record of building operational processes from scratch in a fast-growth environment
Experience evaluating and optimizing data strategies based on data-driven insights
