Responsibilities
Supervise and mentor a team of collections agents, ensuring adherence to company policies and legal regulations
Develop and implement effective collection strategies to meet and exceed departmental goals
Conduct regular performance reviews, providing coaching and feedback to enhance team performance
Analyze aging reports and account statuses to identify trends and areas for improvement
Collaborate with other departments to resolve complex account issues and disputes
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including FDCPA and state-specific requirements
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 4 years of experience in collections
At least a minimum of 1 to 2 years of managerial experience in a collections environment
Strong knowledge of collections processes and relevant regulations
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collections software
Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
High school diploma required
