RESEA Administrative Assistant (Multiple Locations)
The Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) is seeking an RESEA Administrative Assistant III for UI Client Services. The role involves performing complex clerical work, managing administrative tasks, and supporting the RESEA Program Specialist and UICS Training Supervisor to ensure program integrity and efficient data entry.

Responsibilities
Open and review emails sent to the State WF/UI Coordinator mailbox
Assess information submitted on Potential Unemployment Benefits Eligibility Issue - Reporting (WF-42) Forms, check details for completeness and determines case creation needs
Document information received on WF-42 Forms in the UI Benefits System and UI T&E Database
Maintain records of WF-42s submitted, handle retention and assist during audits
Assemble, organize, and tabulate data
Prepare reports regarding WF-42 Forms received and cases created
Evaluate information received to identify trends and potential training needs
Review correspondence, reports, summaries, manuals, forms, and similar types of documents for completeness and accuracy
Keep a record of Local WF/UI Coordinators and respond to emails from Coordinators and other Workforce Solutions representatives as appropriate
Answer standard inquiries regarding policies and procedures related to the completion and submission of WF-42 Forms
Support and assist the RESEA Program Specialist and UICS Training Supervisor
Perform related work as assigned
Qualification
Required
Two years of full-time experience that provided knowledge of administrative support functions and office practices and procedures, or clerical administration and business management practices, such as preparation, maintenance, and control of forms, records and reports
Relevant academic credits may be applied toward experience qualifications for this position
One year of full-time in-service TWC experience classified as an Administrative Assistant II with regular status will satisfy the minimum qualifications
Preferred
UI claims taking experience, to include accurate case creation and fact-finding documentation
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with impeccable grammar and spelling
Skill in the use of a computer and office equipment
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams, OneNote, Access; UI Benefits System; CAST; CAPES; SharePoint
Ability to prepare and maintain records, files and reports
Knowledge of records administration and maintenance techniques and procedures
