Project Engineer I
Nikkiso Clean Energy & Industrial Gases is a leading provider of cryogenic pumps and solutions for the LNG and industrial gases industry. The Project Engineer I is responsible for managing capital equipment projects from order receipt to shipment, ensuring project accuracy and quality through effective planning and coordination.

Responsibilities
Completes engineering projects by organizing and controlling project elements
Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans and consulting with Project Manager
Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards
Completes technical studies and prepares cost estimates as needed
Confirms product performance by designing and conducting tests, assists in design and expediting of project
Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications, calculating time requirements, and sequencing project elements
Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems
Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan, scheduling changes, and recommending actions
Controls project costs by reviewing cost implications with Project Manager
Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends, recommending actions
Create and modify Bills-of-Materials in CAD and MER/ERP
Create and revise project documentation as required per the supplier document list (SDL)
Work as a liaison between departments, suppliers and the customer to address project design requirements
Review product designs to ensure they meet project specifications and are in-compliance with industry regulations
Work with Design Engineering to ensure on-time completion of design work and that designs meet project specifications
Oversee testing and address non-conforming material (NCM) issues
Domestic and foreign travel to meet with customers and suppliers
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
2 + years of related experience
Advanced MS Office Suite
Knowledge and experience in machine design, preferably engineered-to-order
Skilled in time management, prioritizing and managing changing priorities
Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

Professional experience w/ 3D CAD software, SOLIDWORKS preferred, creating models, assemblies and drawings
