Responsibilities
Learning how to evaluate customer applications by gathering information from customers and sales partners
Assisting with hands-on application testing such as welding, marking, cutting, and related processes
Documenting test results and helping prepare clear application reports with equipment recommendations
Providing technical support to customers and internal teams via phone and email
Supporting on-site customer visits, including equipment setup, training, and process development (travel opportunities available)
Participating in technical presentations and product demonstrations
Building a strong understanding of product capabilities and technical specifications through hands-on learning and training
Supporting additional projects as you grow in the role
Qualification
Required
Strong communication skills and a willingness to ask questions and learn
Good organization and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Attention to detail and good listening skills
Comfort interacting with customers and internal teams
Positive attitude and interest in delivering great customer experiences
Exposure to manufacturing, engineering, or technical environments (through work, internships, or coursework)
2–3 years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, or a technical role (internships and co-ops welcome)
Microsoft Office experience required
Preferred
Four-year technical or engineering degree preferred
