Senior Manager, Data & Insights

The Senior Manager, Data & Insights will lead a team of analysts and data scientists to develop data-driven insights and reporting, ensuring effective service delivery to government clients while optimizing operational efficiency.

Responsibilities
Lead analysts and data scientists to design and deliver meaningful insights, reporting and dashboarding for our GXC and GXG customers
Serve as a customer-facing leader in how data drives a more efficient or improved digital service delivery
Lead delivery on sophisticated analytics platform dashboard solutions for Federal, State and Local government clients on their email/SMS sending, websites, surveys, etc., ensuring delivery is meeting client goals and Granicus strategic goals, while optimizing and improving
Oversee Data & Insights reporting and data work on Federal, State and Local clients
Strategically plan the development and launch of new data-led services and solutions, such as dashboard solutions or reporting and measurement services, including seller enablement, technical support, demo creation, pitches, pre-sales etc
Develop the Data & Insights practice services, solutions, client approach and processes, optimizing and improving processes to increase operational efficiency and team collaboration
Oversee all aspects of customer-facing data or reporting needs for GXC and GXG
Key leader and strategic thinker on cross-functional efforts, including with product, engineering, data science, implementation and other technical teams across Granicus, guiding the strategic direction of the solution, aligned to Granicus goals
Guide individual contributors in career pathing through monitoring and evaluation of performance, demonstration of initiative, and company growth
Collaborate with Director on strategic planning and innovation initiatives
Develop, grow and manage strategic customer relationships
Support GXG team members and other department resources to manage the scope, timeline, and delivery of data-driven deliverables
Represent Granicus in speaking roles, panel participation, and internal or external engagements
Collaborate with the Government Experience and Insights leaders to ensure operational efficiencies, including resourcing, project management, and team utilization
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience in digital marketing analysis preferably in a digital/social agency serving government or at a government agency
2-5 years of experience in leading larger teams to ensure quality assurance and strategic direction of project deliverables including data configuration and management, link tracking strategies, custom dashboards, ongoing reporting and presentations for customers
Experience launching new services or capabilities to drive business growth
Proven experience in leading a successful team of digital marketing analysts, data scientists and business intelligence analysts
Experience leading teams in analyzing multi-channel outreach and segment behavior across complex projects and cross-functional teams
Strong experience in leading teams to build actionable, client-facing dashboards incorporating multiple data sources
Ability to act as a trusted, strategic adviser to top professionals; experienced in collaborating with and managing expectations of senior business leaders
Exceptional interpersonal skills for internal and external relationship building at all levels of the organization, including cross-departmental colleagues, C-suite and executive or strategic customers
Ability to create and thrive in a lean, self-propelling, proactive environment
Commitment to diversity of thought and consideration of different ideas
Expert of leveraging data from digital communications tools and identifying the key metrics that matter
Expert in leading teams in the data collection, organization, analysis and visualization through QuickSight, Tableau, Power BI, or other data visualization tools
Self-motivated, flexible problem solver, who can keep the trains running (managing the routine) but can also adapt quickly and find alternative ways to get work done
Passion for public service, citizen engagement and communication
