Responsibilities
Partner with data science, marketing, and engineering teams across the enterprise to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using modern tools such as dbt and Snowflake
Collaborate closely with marketing teams to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable data solutions
Lead efforts to migrate and refactor existing Redshift logic into the modern data stack (Snowflake/dbt/Salesforce)
Plan and execute development work within Agile frameworks, including CI/CD pipelines and 2-week sprint cycles
Ensure data quality and reliability through testing, documentation, peer reviews, and adherence to coding standards
Continuously evaluate and improve system processes, architecture, and data governance practices
Collaborate with data science teams to ensure data solutions support predictive modeling and advanced analytics
Serve as a trusted advisor to marketing teams, identifying opportunities to use Snowflake/Data360 for advanced segmentation and personalization
Leverage GitHub and AI-enabled tools (e.g., Copilot) to accelerate understanding of legacy code and refactor pipelines into the modern stack
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or SQL/data development roles
2+ years of hands-on experience with dbt and modern cloud data platforms such as Snowflake and/or Databricks
Extensive experience designing and building ETL/ELT pipelines for large-scale data systems
Strong expertise in data analysis/data mining
Proven ability to work with large, complex datasets, including performance tuning and optimization
Experience with version control (Git/GitHub) and collaborative data development workflows
Excellent communication skills and the ability to partner effectively with cross-functional stakeholders
Preferred
Experience working with Salesforce Data360 (formerly Data Cloud), Marketing Cloud is a plus
Experience with GitHub Copilot preferred
