They are seeking an entry level Component Laboratory Technician I to perform routine manufacturing of blood components, including processing whole blood and special blood products while adhering to strict quality control and Good Manufacturing Practices.

Responsibilities
Receive blood collections, fold blood bags
Process blood collections
Process research, source, and special blood products
Proper use of laboratory equipment and reponse to alarms
Obtain samples from blood components for quality testing
Restock laboratory supplies
Label blood products
Understand good laboratory practice and cGMP requirements
Proficient in the use of IBR computer systems
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be able to stand and walk most of the shift
Lift 50lbs
Hand/eye coordination, visual acuity
Preferred
Bachelor's or Associate degree
Laboratory manufacturing experience using cGMP
