Responsibilities
Design and review of all phases of rail/highway/site plan development for our various projects
Highway Geometrics
Roadway modeling and cross section development
Grading and drainage
Erosion and sediment control
Storm water management
Traffic control, traffic studies and signalization
Signing and pavement marking
Utility design coordination
Preparation of plans specifications and estimate packages and schematic design documents
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field required
Must be able to fulfill essential job functions in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner
Preferred
Highway Geometrics
Roadway modeling and cross section development
Grading and drainage
Erosion and sediment control
Storm water management
Traffic control, traffic studies and signalization
Signing and pavement marking
Utility design coordination
Preparation of plans specifications and estimate packages and schematic design documents
Experience with the following software packages are a plus - MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, InRoads/Geopak, and/or Microsoft Office. AutoCAD a plus
Active participation in professional society activities encouraged
