Responsibilities

Performs all required patient registration procedures

Assists in the organization of patient flow within the service area

Ensures that all ordered testing and pre-admission processes are completed as ordered

May perform specific procedures including, but not limited to, phlebotomy and electrocardiograms

Qualification

Required

High school graduate or equivalent

General knowledge of keyboard and data entry processes as well as basic terminology relating to computers

Phlebotomy and EKG experience required

Excellent communication and customer relation skills

Must be able to type and demonstrate basic computer skills

Preferred

Current BLS/CPR certification and First Aid training preferred, but not required
