Packaging Operator
Dow is one of the world’s leading materials science companies, and they are seeking a Packaging Operator to optimize plant performance by operating equipment and monitoring process conditions. The role involves following standard operating procedures and using troubleshooting skills to ensure efficient operation in the sealant packaging area of the plant.

Responsibilities
Follows Operating Discipline principles, procedures and practices to ensure safe and efficient operation of assigned plant areas
Operates and field checks process equipment
Monitors process conditions, equipment and control systems
Performs tasks assigned to operations as per a standard task list including field checks, equipment preparation, samples, etc
Ensures operational activities and process performance are aligned with plant and business goals
Uses troubleshooting skills to resolve process related deviations and problems
Work with schedulers & vendors to process returns and resolve shipping issues
Qualification
Required
A minimum of High School diploma or equivalent
A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
Must possess a TWIC card or be eligible to obtain a TWIC card
A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process
Ability to safely and efficiently operate and monitor packaging machinery and related control systems
Skilled in observing process conditions and adjusting maintain optimal plant performance
Capability to identify and resolve process deviations or equipment issues using established methods
Competence in exchanging technical information and working effectively with team members and vendors
Ability to prioritize and manage assigned tasks to meet operational goals without direct supervision
