Responsibilities
Stress and loads analysis of primary and secondary aircraft structure, equipment racks, and interior items using classical analysis methods and finite element techniques
Provide design support, detail stress analysis, and stress support to Liaison for modification of primary aircraft structure and interior items
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 18 years of aircraft structural analysis. Experience around modification of transport category and general aviation aircraft is beneficial
Classical Stress Analysis
Finite Element Analysis Using MSC/NASTRAN and PATRAN
Analysis of Aircraft Structural Repairs
Preparation of Stress Reports for Aircraft Certification
Microsoft Word and Excel
Preferred
Fatigue and Damage Tolerance Analysis
Knowledge of Commercial and Military Aircraft Certification
