The role involves building scalable systems and collaborating with various teams to create resilient technical solutions while mentoring junior engineers.

Responsibilities
Designing and building reliable, scalable, performant, and secure core services for the platform
Tackling challenging fintech problems including global payment rails, orchestration, compliance, and fraud designs
Working on distributed systems and global payment integrations to unlock new revenue streams
Championing operational excellence by contributing to on-call practices, observability, and monitoring
Qualification
Required
6+ years of software engineering experience with a proven track record delivering highly available, distributed backend systems at scale
Strong expertise in system design, API development, and building reliable, high-throughput services
Proficiency in at least one modern backend stack (C# is a bonus, Java, Golang, C++) and experience with cloud-native platforms (AWS is a bonus)
Experience mentoring junior engineers and driving technical design for complex projects
Preferred
Familiarity with payments, fintech, or other highly regulated, compliance-heavy domains
