APM Music is a leader in the production music industry, seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Associate to join their Finance team. This role will focus on accounts payable, employee expenses, credit cards, cash application, and bank reconciliations, while supporting month-end close activities and maintaining accurate accounting records.

Responsibilities

Prepare and post general ledger journal entries

Record and apply cash receipts accurately in the financial system

Process accounts payable invoices, corporate credit card transactions, and employee expense reimbursements

Review and approve expense report coding for accuracy and compliance with company policy

Update expense workbooks with monthly transactions

Perform bank and aging reconciliations

Assist with the preparation of monthly financial sub-schedules

Support audits and respond to internal inquiries as needed

Participate in ad hoc accounting projects and process improvements
