Responsibilities
Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines, providing customer service to clients, employees, and visitors at the aerospace and defense location
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing armed response protocols when necessary
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns
Monitor access points and verify the credentials of individuals entering restricted areas as required by site policies
Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and local law enforcement when security-related incidents arise
Document all incidents, observations, and activities according to company and client protocols
Participate in emergency response activities, following established procedures for the aerospace and defense environment
Qualification
Required
A valid concealed carry weapons permit is required
At least 1 year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military roles is required
An armed guard card or license is required
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Participate in industry-specific security training programs
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
