They are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Engineer to support project teams with technical coordination, constructability reviews, field engineering, and steel erection planning.

Responsibilities

Support engineering reviews of structural steel drawings, connection details, and erection plans
Assist in coordinating with detailers, fabricators, engineers, and field teams
Perform quantity takeoffs and layout calculations to aid project planning
Create sketches, markups, and lift planning diagrams as directed
Conduct constructability reviews and suggest design or sequencing solutions
Visit job sites to support field layout, connection troubleshooting, and technical coordination
Assist in tracking RFIs, submittals, and engineering changes
Participate in engineering and safety meetings to gain real-world understanding of jobsite dynamics
Develop proficiency in Sure Steel’s modeling, planning, and technical systems
Ensure compliance with internal engineering standards and safety protocols

Required

2-3 years of relevant experience in engineering or steel construction
