Responsibilities
The role of the Senior Salesforce Developer is an individual that can effectively participate in all stages of the Agile development lifecycle. This includes defining the overall project, participate in planning, prioritization, development, testing, and other aspects. The primary expectation is that this individual will have an advanced knowledge of Salesforce technologies and configuration settings
Provide advanced Salesforce ecosystem knowledge. This is a holistic view of environment and not limited to development
Participate in all aspects of Agile project development
Implement solutions and best practices. Provide guidance and insight to steer towards an optimized Salesforce ecosystem
Assist with planning site creation, redesigns and updates based on best practices and business requirements
Actively engage business partners, IT leadership and other stakeholders to maintain open lines of communication that is in the best interest of the deliverables
Demonstrate an elevated level of expertise related to configuration, core Salesforce development technologies. This includes APEX coding language, workflows, SOQL, Lightning and other related technologies
Diligent commitment to timelines, budget and deliverables as directed by the project manager
Qualification
Required
Academic qualifications/Level of Preferably an undergraduate / associate level degree / diploma from an accredited institution, in Computer Science / Statistics / Applied Mathematics / EE / Electronics or, any equivalent technical field of study. Applications are also invited from candidates with major in Software Engineering / Information Technology / Management Information Systems
Minimal of 4 years of Salesforce development / configuration experience in an instance with more than two-thousand users, over 30% APEX code used, and more than 100 workflows and process builders
Advanced analytical skills that are inline with the Salesforce ecosystem that exploits the platform with minimal coding and maximum configuration. This includes Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Experience Cloud
Advanced knowledge of web coding standards including HTML5 and CSS3 to support Salesforce Lightning
Strong communications and documentation skills
Ability to solve business challenges that exploit the Salesforce ecosystem and maximize the platform
Ability to multitask and prioritize workloads based on project demands
Agile project management skills and knowledge
Ability to liaison with all stakeholders in a professional manner
In-depth knowledge of the Salesforce development / configuration paradigm. This includes experience with using Microsoft Visual Studio Code for development, and other associated technologies
Resources must have minimal of 4 years experience with in depth knowledge of Salesforce
