Responsibilities
Administers, supports, and enhances Hill College’s enterprise systems, primarily Jenzabar One (J1) and its associated modules
Ensures seamless integration and functionality of related platforms such as Docubase, JICS Portal, PowerFAIDS, Herring Bank, and RAVE/Alertus
Develops custom scripts, automated processes, and specialized reports
Plays a key role in system configuration, upgrades, and user support
Provides advanced technical support and troubleshooting for enterprise applications
Administers user access and security settings for Jenzabar-related systems
Leads and supports technology projects, integrations, and upgrades
Trains users and develops documentation for enterprise systems
Evaluates and implements new technologies to enhance institutional systems
Leads cross-functional projects to improve system efficiency and user experience
Ensures alignment of enterprise applications with institutional goals and compliance standards
Works closely with faculty, staff, and external vendors to support enterprise applications
Serves as liaison between IT and other departments to ensure effective system use and integration
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Six (6) to eight (8) years of experience in enterprise systems as a Programmer Analyst or similar role
Skilled in HTML, SQL, Transact-SQL, and report writing tools such as Info maker
Develops and maintains custom scripts, reports, and interfaces
Provides advanced technical support and troubleshooting for enterprise applications
Administers user access and security settings for Jenzabar-related systems
Leads and supports technology projects, integrations, and upgrades
Trains users and develops documentation for enterprise systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Commitment to customer service and continuous improvement
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Security-sensitive position requiring confidentiality and discretion
May require after-hours support and on-call availability
Occasional travel to client sites for installations and support
Light work; exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body
Preferred
Experience in higher education and project leadership
Working knowledge of modern Enterprise Resource Planning systems (e.g. Jenzabar EX/J1) and/or modern Learning Management Systems (e.g. D2L Brightspace) highly preferred
