Responsibilities
Architect, design, and develop software systems that control machines to streamline manufacturing processes
Build and maintain software infrastructure enabling value extraction from generated data
Understand new products’ operation and control and develop means to ensure integrity in volume production
Design, document, and qualify software for manufacturing of new instruments and accessories
Follow good software development practices
Work independently to overcome roadblocks with minimal guidance
Take ownership of manufacturing software and collaborate cross-functionally to drive projects to completion
Support existing production software
Qualification
Required
Minimum 3 years of experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Strong software engineering fundamentals
Solid programming experience (object-oriented design, clean architecture)
OOA/OOD/OOP and design patterns
Ability to design and test systems end-to-end
Comfortable with hardware-adjacent software
Strong problem-solving and debugging
Clear written and verbal communication
Ability to work with limited direction and take ownership
Passion for technology and programming
Ability to map, develop, and test projects from inception to launch
Proven track record of executing and delivering
Commitment to continuous improvement of best practices
Adaptability to dynamic requirements
Strong communication skills
Strong programming skill and experience
Understanding of OOA/OOD/OOP/design patterns
Detail-oriented team player

Ability to communicate complex concepts to engineers

Preferred
Experience developing robotic or electro-mechanical systems, including control systems
Strong industry experience in architecture and development of scalable, production-quality systems
Experience with C#, .NET, WPF applications
Full understanding of SDLC
Familiarity with databases (SQL, NoSQL)
Experience in medical device manufacturing or regulated engineering environments
Strong analytical, time management, interpersonal, listening, and communication skills
Familiarity with Statistical Analysis, Six Sigma, and/or Statistical Process Control (SPC)
