Responsibilities
Supporting FAA's Enroute and Oceanic Support Services (EOSS) contract
Implementing and supporting enterprise Cisco networks including the design, configuration, and installation of network hardware
Troubleshooting and repairing network connectivity anomalies with router and switch configurations
Understanding of VLANS, trunking, routing and switching protocols, and NATing
Understanding of network security utilizing Firepower IDS and IPS
Familiarity with Cisco Hyperflex system
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or another type of Technical degree
Minimum of 20 years of experience
Network concepts and protocols knowledge
Experience installing, configuring and supporting IPS/IDS to ensure network security
Experience in configuring, monitoring and troubleshooting Cisco switches, routers, communications and connectivity
Experience with network hardware and infrastructure
Good communication skills
Must be a US citizen or 3-year permanent resident of the United States (green card holder)
