They are seeking a Tax Manager or Senior Manager to lead nonprofit tax engagements, advise clients on tax matters, and support a diverse portfolio of tax-exempt organizations nationwide.

Responsibilities
Leading nonprofit and tax-exempt tax engagements from planning through filing
Reviewing Forms 990 and related schedules
Advising clients on UBTI and nonprofit-specific tax matters
Acting as a primary point of contact for nonprofit clients
Reviewing and mentoring seniors and staff accountants
Staying current on regulatory and tax law changes impacting exempt organizations
Qualification
Required
5+ years of public accounting tax experience
Hands-on experience with nonprofit or tax-exempt clients
CPA required (MST or advanced tax degree a plus)
Demonstrated experience reviewing work prepared by seniors and/or staff and providing guidance or feedback
Strong review, communication, and client-management skills
Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment
