The role involves owning data foundations and analytics strategy while enabling smarter decisions across product, GTM, and operations.

Responsibilities

Define data vision, operating model, and governance (definitions, ownership, quality, access)
Establish trusted KPI frameworks across product, revenue, finance, and operations
Lead privacy, security, and compliance alignment in partnership with Security/Legal as needed
Own strategy for data warehousing, pipelines, BI, semantic layers, and self-serve analytics
Partner with Engineering to scale data infrastructure reliability and performance
Drive standardization for instrumentation, event tracking, and experimentation measurement
Enable decision-making through insight generation: cohorts, forecasting, unit economics, attribution
Operationalize experimentation culture and measurement rigor across teams
Present executive-ready narratives that connect data to actions and outcomes
Build and lead a high-performing org across BI, analytics, and data engineering (as scope requires)
Develop leaders, career ladders, and talent pipelines

Required

12–18+ years in data/analytics with 5+ years leading teams and functions
Strong record building scalable data platforms and driving business impact through analytics

Strong stakeholder influence and ability to align across executive teams

Preferred

SaaS metrics expertise; experience with AI/ML product analytics or data products
