The Legal Content Support Specialist role assists Content Attorneys and works independently on training-level projects, including the creation of original content and legal research.

Responsibilities

The Legal Content Support Specialist (LCSS) provides legal research and analysis support for CEB’s legal content projects

This part-time role (4–16 hours/week) focuses on special research assignments, case summaries and categorization, and other legal writing and editing

The LCSS works independently with guidance from supervising attorneys and project leaders, contributing to practical legal research tools for California attorneys

Support development of practical research tools for attorneys

Complete special legal research assignments utilizing CEB.com and other research tools

Review cases and other primary law; categorize cases; provide summaries

Conduct legal analysis to support content drafting and editing

Strong legal research and analytical skills; familiarity with tools like Westlaw and Lexis or other online research tools

Excellent writing and editing ability with attention to detail and accuracy

Proficient in MS Office/365
