Responsibilities

Perform work under direct supervision of an experienced professional and follow established procedures and clearly defined processes. Receive direction on all aspects of assignments, specific tasks and how to execute. Work is thoroughly reviewed by more senior staff to ensure application of sound techniques and principles

Work closely with more senior staff members to learn and assist in the Information Technology department

Provide technical support including orders, builds, upgrades, deploys, tracks, and disposal of the company's end user device computer equipment and accessories

Install software

Schedule hardware repairs with vendors

Maintain computer equipment inventory

Miscellaneous tasks as assigned

Qualification

CompTIA A+ certificationTroubleshooting hardwareMicrosoft operating systemsTechnical supportEffective communication

Required

High School Diploma or GED

Entry level position, no prior experience required. Any experience in a related field a plus

Successful completion of the A+ CompTIA A+ series (or equivalent) certification

Proven success troubleshooting general computer hardware

Experience with Microsoft operating systems
