The role involves conducting policy and regulatory research, tracking legislation, and managing public records related to health programs and services.

Responsibilities

Assisting in special projects assigned by the Deputy Secretary and Chief of Staff

Serves as the official custodian of public records for the Operations Administration and the principal conduit for receipt of Public Information Act requests

During the Legislative Session of the Maryland General Assembly this position will track and monitor legislation, as well as assist in drafting and compiling fiscal notes for the Department of Legislative Services

Required

A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

Three years of experience evaluating, analyzing, researching and developing health care services, policies and programs

Candidates must possess at least one year of experience working within a policy, legislative or regulatory capacity

Employees assigned duties which require the operation of a motor vehicle will be required to possess a motor vehicle operator's license valid in the State of Maryland
