The People Operations & Talent Acquisition Assistant will support core HR functions, including recruiting coordination, onboarding activities, and day-to-day HR operations in a fast-growing environment.

Responsibilities
Support day-to-day HR operations, including employee file maintenance and HRIS data updates
Assist with recruiting coordination, including scheduling interviews and supporting candidate communications
Support onboarding activities such as new hire logistics, welcome materials, and first-day preparation
Source, review, and screen candidate profiles, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers and interviewers to support an efficient, high-quality hiring process
Partner with the People team on employee engagement initiatives, including recognition programs and gift coordination
Handle office-related responsibilities including checking physical mail, shipping and mailing items, and maintaining basic office supplies
Provide administrative support for HR projects and ad hoc initiatives as needed
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive employee information
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
Ability to work part-time (approximately 20 hours per week) during standard business hours
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Professional written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Reliable, proactive, and comfortable working independently
Local to the Arlington, VA area and able to come into the office 3-5 days a week
Preferred
Prior internship or administrative experience
Interest in Human Resources, recruiting, or People Operations
Familiarity with Microsoft Office or similar productivity tools
Experience supporting office operations or administrative tasks
