Responsibilities

Content Excellence: Review and edit technical content for plumbing products, including installation instructions, homeowner guides, servicing manuals, labels, packaging, and animation scripts

Standards Advocacy: Recommend and support technical communication requirements and style standards across all publications

Project Management: Lead assignments from conception to completion, collaborating cross-functionally with Engineering, Marketing, Legal, and Digital Communications teams

Quality Control: Edit for content modeling, quality standards, and adherence to style guides (Chicago Manual of Style or Gregg Reference Manual)

Problem Solving: Utilize root cause analysis (STAR method) to identify and resolve documentation or process issues

Required

Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, or Technical Communications (or 4 years of equivalent industry experience)

You must be able to read technical drawings and possess the diagnostic skills necessary to understand how mechanical products are assembled and serviced

A demonstrated ability to translate between 2D and 3D data views

Advanced skills in MS Excel and the ability to quickly learn complex CMS and authoring tools
