Responsibilities

Maintain financial models for brand, product, and commercial initiatives by evaluating data and determining optimal spend to accomplish company goals
Partner cross-functionally to develop P&L statements for new initiatives and benchmark to existing experiences. Leverage analytics, logic, and reasoning to identify the strengths and opportunities of alternative solutions and conclusions
Partner with Finance to develop, submit, and monitor capital requests to secure funding for brand strategy and innovation projects, including building and substantiating business cases, and once approved, tracking financial spend and updating forecasts in partnership with brand finance and newbuild finance
Lead ad-hoc analyses to guide decision-making on design of future strategies and products by identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop options and implement solutions
Partner cross-functionally with newbuild, hotel operations, revenue management, onboard revenue, deployment strategy, product development, and brand/corporate finance to develop, and consistently update, reasonable assumptions based on performance benchmarks
Develop presentations and business case memos that articulate complex details into simple, persuasive, and thoughtful stories for executive leadership alignment to drive decision making
Foster collaboration within a cross-functional team, where cross-discipline dynamic communication is paramount to success by actively listening to various perspectives and bringing teams together to persuade and reconcile differences
Strong understanding of marketing principles to support management on strategic initiatives and guide analysis

Required

Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, finance, or another relevant field of study
3+ years of experience in business, strategy, analysis, brand/product marketing, or another relevant field
Advanced experience using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, including intricate knowledge not only of advanced formulas (such as index-match), but also Excel problem solving abilities to extract analysis and insights from large data sets. Knowledge of SQL is a bonus
Ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment with rapidly-changing goals and priorities
Self-motivated and proactive individual
Possess strong financial modeling, strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Strong listening, presentation, persuasion, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior leadership
Strong business acumen with the ability to see interdependencies of various functions and bring them together for common goals

Preferred

Master's degree in a relevant field of study
Strong knowledge of the cruise industry preferred
