Responsibilities
This position serves as the overall technical program management leader for future submarine propulsion plant design, supporting VCS, SSNX, SSNA, and other nuclear propulsion design efforts
The position is responsible for task execution, planning, and conducting program activities to the highest standards
There is regular communication and coordination between other NNS technical managers, GDEB program and technical leaders, NNL, NR, and vendors
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of progressive technical experience in research, engineering and design
Master's Degree and 6 years of relevant experience
PhD and 4 years of relevant experience
Newport News Shipbuilding requires a Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program
US Citizenship Required for this Position

Travel Requirement: Yes, 10%-25% of the time
