Responsibilities

Leading and mentoring an engineering team that values collaboration and accountability
Guiding projects from schematic design through shop drawings and production support
Balancing timelines, priorities, and performance metrics without losing sight of quality
Setting CAD and BIM standards that actually work in a manufacturing environment
Partnering closely with production, project management, procurement, and customers
Stepping in to solve challenging design questions when there is no textbook answer

Modular constructionCAD skillsLeadershipBIM exposure3D modelingERP workflows

Required

Prior modular construction experience is required
A solid background in modular construction and how buildings are actually assembled
Experience leading design or engineering teams
Strong CAD skills, especially AutoCAD
Comfort working across design, manufacturing, and production teams
A practical leadership style that keeps people aligned and moving forward

Preferred

Exposure to BIM, 3D modeling, or ERP workflows is a plus, not a requirement
