Responsibilities

Lead and execute end-to-end air export operations, including pickup coordination, inland transportation, airline bookings, and carrier/trucker coordination

Serve as a subject-matter expert for air export processes, documentation, and regulatory requirements

Arrange and confirm freight bookings with airlines and ensure timely and accurate pre-alerts upon on-board confirmation

Track, trace, and manage air export shipments from origin to final destination, providing proactive updates to customers and internal stakeholders

Act as a point of escalation for operational issues, troubleshooting shipment delays, documentation discrepancies, and service challenges

Prepare, review, and validate export documentation including Air Waybills, commercial invoices, certificates of origin, AES filings, ITs, and permits

Ensure all export documentation is accurate, compliant, and distributed in a timely manner to carriers, customers, and overseas agents

Ensure compliance with internal SOPs and external regulations including TSA, TAPA, IATA, ISO, Customs, and applicable tariffs

Coordinate inbound and outbound cargo movements, including bonded freight and cargo transfers

Maintain a high standard of customer service through clear, professional communication with shippers, customers, vendors, airlines, overseas agents, freight forwarders, and trucking companies

Respond promptly to shipment inquiries, emails, rate requests, and service-related issues

Coordinate daily shipment workflows including documentation, dispatching, monitoring, and invoicing accuracy

Prepare and support shipment quotes, ensuring correct rate application and cost-effective routing solutions

Identify opportunities to optimize export processes, reduce costs, improve service levels, and increase operational efficiency

Support shipment consolidation and booking accuracy in accordance with local procedures

Assist with reviewing, maintaining, and improving standard operating procedures to ensure compliance and consistency

Provide backup coverage for key accounts and assist with high-volume or time-sensitive shipments as needed

Support the Department Manager by providing operational insight, reporting issues, and assisting with special projects as assigned
