Patient Connection Center System Trainer

Responsibilities
Responsible for all aspects of revenue cycle performance improvement process including, needs assessment, gap analysis, quality improvement initiatives, intervention, curriculum design, development, implementation, and evaluation
Provides ongoing support and monitors standards associated with Marshfield Clinic Health System (MCHS) appointments, referrals, pre-registration, financial counseling, authorizations/managed care and registration functions system wide
Integrates with all levels of leadership and staff to make decisions consistent with MCHS policies, procedures, and department standards
Involved in the project management process to organize and incorporate changes, and revisions to system wide initiatives for a multitude of departments within MCHS
Supports Revenue Cycle staff by providing the necessary tools to succeed in their role and enabling them to consistently provide excellent patient care and enhancing the overall patient experience
Qualification
Required
Associate degree in Education, Human Resources, Business, Communication, Healthcare, or related field. In lieu of an Associate degree, 3 years of experience in a Revenue Cycle role
Two years' experience in a Revenue Cycle role
Demonstrated proficiency with written and verbal communication and leadership skills
Knowledge of commercial and government billing requirements
Valid State of Wisconsin Driver's license with acceptable driving record
Employee may not at any time have been or be excluded from participation in any federally funded program, including Medicare and Medicaid
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare/Nursing, Education, Information Systems, or related field
One year management experience in revenue cycle functions for a large integrated (hospital/physician) health system
