Responsibilities

Proactively source and engage a competitive talent pool for openings in the AWS and AI space, using LinkedIn, BambooHR and other channels to build diverse pipelines
Collaborate with Hiring Managers to craft compelling job descriptions for Avahi’s website, LinkedIn and other platforms to attract qualified candidates
Screen resumes and applications, conduct structured interviews and coordinate technical assessments to evaluate abilities, skills and interest
Craft and send personalized recruiting emails to passive candidates, highlighting current opportunities at Avahi
Create and maintain an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
Partner with the HR Manager to forecast hiring needs and goals, ensuring alignment with Avahi’s growth strategy
Work with the HR Manager to design and execute a recruitment strategy that supports Avahi’s objectives
Manage job requisitions, maintain strong candidate pipelines and produce recruitment reports that provide timely updates and insights for Hiring Managers
Promote Avahi’s employer brand by participating in virtual and in-person career fairs, tech conferences and AWS events
Support offer preparation, negotiation and new-hire onboarding, including introducing essential tools and resources
Provide training to Hiring Managers on effective recruiting practices and develop reusable interview training materials
Assist Hiring Managers in creating and updating onboarding resources, such as checklists, orientation guides and role-specific documentation
Stay current with new trends, products and certifications within the AWS ecosystem, ensuring Avahi remains at the forefront of industry knowledge

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, MIS, or a related field
2+ years of experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or Recruiter with a focus on technical, IT, or AWS roles
Familiarity with AWS technologies and certifications is an asset
Strong command of recruiting best practices, sourcing techniques, and candidate assessment methods
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Able to work independently, set priorities, and consistently meet deadlines
Proficient with LinkedIn Recruiter, BambooHR, and similar applicant tracking or HR tools
Exceptional attention to detail, comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated success hiring for globally distributed teams
Proactive mindset, able to anticipate next steps and evolving hiring needs
