Responsibilities

Define and evolve the technical vision for our web platforms, ensuring scalability, performance, security, and maintainability
Architect complex frontend applications using React, Angular, Vue, or comparable JavaScript frameworks
Lead solution design for highly dynamic, content-driven experiences, including CMS-managed and personalized content
Evaluate emerging technologies, frameworks, and tools to continually improve our digital experience capabilities
Serve as the technical authority on JavaScript, TypeScript, and related frontend technologies
Develop high-performance, accessible, and responsive UI experiences across devices
Optimize application architecture, state management, rendering performance, and frontend build pipelines
Implement personalized content delivery and customer-specific experiences using CMS capabilities, rules engines, and API-driven content models
Partner with backend and platform teams to design efficient, scalable API contracts for content delivery
Integrate modern headless or hybrid CMS platforms into large-scale web applications (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager, Contentful, Sitecore, Optimizely, etc.)
Architect component-driven UI models that seamlessly connect with structured CMS content
Implement personalization strategies including A/B testing, audience targeting, journey orchestration, and content rules
Guide content modeling, authoring workflows, and reusable content patterns for scalability and ease of maintenance
Collaborate closely with marketing, content authors, and UX teams to enable frictionless content publishing and optimization workflows
Mentor senior engineers and guide technical teams in executing complex engineering initiatives
Lead code reviews, architecture reviews, and technical deep dives
Foster a culture of innovation, performance excellence, and continuous learning
Collaborate with Product, UX, Content Strategy, and Architecture teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Lead technical planning, sizing, and risk assessment for major initiatives
Serve as a thought leader on modern web architectures and digital experience platforms
Oversee end-to-end delivery of large, CMS-driven, and personalized web experiences
Drive adoption of engineering best practices including modular architecture, automated testing, CI/CD, and observability
Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues with a strong focus on performance and reliability

Required

Deep mastery of JavaScript and TypeScript, with hands-on experience in React (preferred) and other leading frameworks
Extensive experience implementing and scaling web applications integrated with modern CMS platforms (headless or traditional)
Strong understanding of personalization frameworks, A/B testing platforms, and dynamic content delivery patterns
Expertise with large-scale frontend architectures, state management, caching, and performance optimization
Solid knowledge of backend concepts, microservices, and API integrations
Strong experience with modern testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tooling
Deep understanding of accessibility, web security, and SEO/performance best practices
Demonstrated success leading engineering teams and influencing technology roadmaps
Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts
Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
Collaborative mindset with proven experience mentoring and developing engineering talent
Bachelor's Degree
10 Years +

Preferred

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
10+ years of experience developing large-scale web applications
Experience building enterprise-grade digital experiences with personalization at scale
Familiarity with Agile/Lean methodologies
