FUJIFILM Cellular Dynamics, Inc is building the future of bioproduction in Holly Springs, North Carolina. The Intern, DSM will support the Drug Substance Manufacturing organization by assisting in critical manufacturing activities and developing business systems needed to operate the site.

Responsibilities

Learn the drug substance manufacturing process and understand how it runs through the DSM facility

Execute projects which could include but are not limited to:

Creating knowledge management tools for manufacturing

Developing short training videos on key manufacturing topics

Assist in value stream and business process mapping, and continuous improvement related to these items

Qualification

Life Sciences knowledgeEngineering knowledgeMicrosoft WordMicrosoft ExcelMicrosoft PowerPointPharma/Biotech experienceLaboratory experienceManufacturing experience

Required

Currently enrolled in an Associate's Degree program with a Life Sciences focus

Currently enrolled in an Engineering or Scientific Undergraduate or Master's degree Program

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Ability to discern audible cues

Ability to ascend or descend ladders, scaffolding, ramps, etc

Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time - up to 60 minutes

Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time - up to 240 minutes

Ability to conduct activities using repetitive motions that include wrists, hands and/or fingers

Ability to conduct work that includes moving objects up to 10 pounds

Preferred

Prior experience in Pharma/Biotech/Chemical Industry

Prior hands-on technical experience (in a laboratory or manufacturing environment)
