Junior Specialist in the Laboratory for Brain Tumor Research Center
The University of California, San Francisco is seeking a Junior Specialist in the Laboratory for Brain Tumor Research Center. This role involves providing research support through biological and immunological studies of brain tumors, contributing to laboratory management, and collecting high-quality data for research purposes.

Responsibilities
Performing experimental surgeries, such as the stereotactic inoculation of tumor cells in the brain and stereotactic delivery of oncogenes that induce brain tumors in rodents
The administration of drug therapies to rodents
Quantifying rodent tumor sizes
Preparing tumor and immune cells for therapy models
Histological and biochemical preparation of tissues
Tissue sectioning and staining
Hi-resolution microscopic and biochemical analyses of brain parenchymal and tumorous tissues
Placing supply orders and resolving housekeeping issues
Assisting with the preparation of abstracts and manuscripts
Qualification
Required
Baccalaureate or equivalent degree
Commitment to the role for a minimum of two years
Curriculum Vitae - CV must clearly list current and/or pending qualifications (e.g. board eligibility/certification, medical licensure, etc.)
