Responsibilities

Culture mammalian cells to produce and test proteins

Clone DNA constructs to support protein and antibody expression

Express and purify novel antibody constructs

Screen novel biologics and oligonucleotides for in vitro activity

Investigate cell binding, internalization, and trafficking of antibodies and receptors

Maintain accurate and well-organized experimental records

Collaborate effectively within a cross-functional research team

Follow established laboratory procedures, safety guidelines, and quality standards

Present project updates in weekly group meetings

Prepare final deliverables, including a scientific poster and a ~20-minute presentation summarizing project objectives, results, and learning

Required

Currently enrolled student at an accredited university or college with 2–3 years of college-level coursework in Biochemistry, Biology, or a related scientific discipline

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including comfort presenting in group settings

Strong problem-solving and organizational skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs

Willingness and ability to spend 75% of the workday in laboratory environments and 25% at a desk
