Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Ab Initio ETL graphs for data extraction, transformation, and loading
Manage Ab Initio Co>Operating System, GDE, EME, Conduct>IT, and Control Center
Perform Ab Initio Administration tasks including installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades
Optimize ETL workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability
Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions
Monitor and troubleshoot production issues, ensuring high availability and minimal downtime
Implement best practices for data governance, security, and compliance
Provide technical documentation, knowledge transfer, and mentoring to junior team members

Required

6+ years of professional experience in Ab Initio ETL development and administration
Strong expertise in Ab Initio GDE, EME, Co>Operating System, Conduct>IT, Control Center
Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL methodologies, and performance tuning
Experience with Unix/Linux scripting, SQL, and relational databases (Oracle, Teradata, DB2, etc.)
Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Preferred

Familiarity with big data platforms (Hadoop, Spark) is a plus
Master's degree preferred but not mandatory
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
Knowledge of data governance tools and metadata management
