Field Applications Engineer

Responsibilities

Collaborate with customers’ engineering, procurement, and quality teams, as well as Radiall’s internal Engineering, Sales, and Manufacturing groups
Support electronics projects by recommending the most effective and profitable Radiall products and solutions — including RF solutions, antennas, multipin connectors, microwave switches, and more
Establish and maintain strong technical relationships with key customers to identify new opportunities within existing accounts
Assist customers in pre-sales technical discussions to define requirements and recommend optimal solutions
Negotiate technical aspects such as specifications, compliance matrices, qualification plans, and data sheets
Prepare draft product specifications in coordination with Design Engineering
Demonstrate product functionalities and performance to customers and internal teams
Create and deliver technical presentations to highlight product features and benefits
Work closely with the Sales team to develop new business opportunities and support customer success
Partner with the Quality team to help resolve product performance issues

Required

Comply with ITAR, must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Legal Resident
A.S. or B.S. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a 4-year college, or equivalent experience in lieu of degree
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated, technically curious, and able to work independently or as part of a cross-functional team
Willingness to travel up to 20% (may vary based on customer and project needs)
Ability to work in-person at the Tempe, AZ office, with some hybrid flexibility after the training period

Preferred

Applications engineering and/or experience with RF, ARINC, or 38999 interconnect components is a strong asset
