Responsibilities

Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of audio-visual technicians, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment

Project Preparation: Assist in the preparation for audio-visual projects, including testing equipment and ensuring all necessary tools and materials are available and accounted for

Project Execution: Install audio-visual technology for standard and custom projects. Help manage project timelines and expectations

Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues that arise during projects to ensure seamless execution

Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, sales teams, and engineers to align on project goals and deliverables

Customer Interaction: Represent UTG professionally when interacting with customers, upholding the company's values of service and excellence

Travel: This position is based out of our headquarters in Fishers and will require significant travel to client sites in the surrounding Indianapolis area. Occasional out-of-state travel will be required (Typically once a month or less). However, if hired to service our largest customer, travel is much more frequent with out-of-state travel being weekly

Required

3-5 Years AV Technician Experience

Crestron and Biamp Experience

Commercial Audio-Visual Installation Experience

Valid Driver's License

Willingness to Travel to Client Sites

Able to Regularly Lift 50+ Pounds

AVIXA CTS Certification (CTS, CTS-D, CTS-I, or Similar)

Preferred

Other Crestron and Biamp Certifications

QSYS / QSC Certification

Bachelor's Degree

Rigging Experience

Electrical Experience

New Construction Install Experience
